The high level walkway contains the major stalactites, which run with water into the pool at low or ground level, with "stalagmites" reaching up to meet them.
) 1 Some of the elements symbolise Pacific rollers, like the waves in the opening credits of the television series Hawaii 5-0.
Others, like figure 2 - the spray dashing against Diamond Head.
All finished in white concrete with high silica content to glitter in the sunshine.
