Proposal for Fulham Stadium

This is a fantastic site for a football club - in the old days you could watch the boat race by turning your back on the pitch and facing the Thames.

When Wembly Stadium was being demolished - I approached the officials on behalf of Fulham to ask if I could purchase the Twin Towers. My intention was to blow them up, crush the remains, bag the crushed concrete and re-cast it into moulds making facsimilies of the Original, Wembly Twin Towers - for Craven Cottage.

These towers would support a pedestrian bridge enabling spectators to use the South side of the river, rather than the North - relieving the home-owners around the stadium of the inconvenience of having thousands of supporters's demanding car parking fascilities.

Floodlit and reflected in the river - my proposed new stadium could have proved an inspiration to young, aspiring players who would train on the proposed pitches opposite - over the river from the Fulham club.
