Vintage Car Rally
The design is prepared and transferred to a clay panel, which is
modeled in bas relief.
When complete, a rubber mould is poured. When set, the clay master is
removed and the metal filled resin prepared, with which to build up the
laminate within the rubber mould.
Because the metal filling in the resin cannot be held in suspension,
the metal fill sinks to the face of the mould. On removal, the face of the
bas relief is polished and assembled in one long panel.
